Im facing the same problem in my build.
So the cheapest way must be to build a X-way valve. I have been playing a bit with this a few weeks back.
First pictures of a 9-way valve that hopefully will be working, im still waiting for the gear for the stepper then it only needs a hot glued mount of plastic.
